SMS Privacy Policy
Trans-System International, Company · Last updated 2026-05-27
Scope
This SMS Privacy Policy describes how Trans-System International, Company ("TSI") collects, uses, and protects the information associated with our transactional SMS program. It supplements (and does not replace) our general Privacy Policy.
What we collect for SMS
- Mobile number you provide on the SMS signup form, by verbal request, or at checkout.
- Full name you provide on the SMS signup form (for identification with your account).
- Consent metadata: timestamp, the version of the disclosure shown, and (for web submissions) the originating IP address and browser user-agent. Federal carrier policy (CTIA / TCR) requires us to retain this proof of consent.
How we use it
- Deliver the transactional text messages you opted in to receive — order confirmations, shipping updates, password resets, two-factor codes, account-security alerts, service outage notifications, and customer-care replies.
- Honor opt-out requests immediately when you reply STOP.
- Provide help when you reply HELP.
- Respond to your inbound text messages (customer care).
- Maintain compliance with carrier and federal regulations.
Who we share it with
For SMS delivery only — and only the minimum necessary data to deliver the message:
- Our SMS platform (Flowroute, a BCM One company): your mobile number plus the message text, for the duration needed to deliver the message.
- Your wireless carrier: as the destination carrier for the message.
We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your mobile number or any SMS opt-in data to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Your SMS opt-in information is not shared with affiliates, advertisers, data brokers, or any party other than the SMS platform and carrier strictly required to deliver the message.
Explicit one-to-one consent is required for SMS communications. Your SMS-related data is not used to build advertising profiles, target retargeting, or any related marketing use.
Message and data rates
Your wireless carrier may charge standard SMS or data rates per your plan. TSI does not charge for the messages themselves.
Message frequency
Frequency varies with your account activity, typically fewer than 5 messages per month. Messages are triggered by events (an order, a password reset, etc.) — not a fixed schedule.
Opting in
Opting in is voluntary. You may opt in by:
- Checking the consent box on our SMS signup form.
- Providing verbal consent to a TSI representative who reads our disclosure script.
- Replying START, YES, SUBSCRIBE, or UNSTOP to a previous opt-out.
If you submit the SMS signup form without checking the consent box, your information is retained but no text messages will be sent.
Opting out
You can stop messages at any time. Reply STOP to any TSI text. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts. To resume, reply START.
Help
Reply HELP to any TSI text to receive a help message and the email contact for customer care. You can also contact us directly using the information below.
Your rights regarding SMS data
- Request a copy of the SMS opt-in records we have for your number.
- Request deletion of your SMS opt-in records (subject to any record-retention obligations under carrier or federal rules).
- Withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP.
Security
SMS-related data is protected with industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. TLS for all web traffic. Credentials and sensitive parameters encrypted at rest. Access limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date.
