SMS / Text Messaging Disclosure
What you can expect from our text-message program, and how to opt in and out.
This disclosure explains the SMS (text-messaging) program operated by Trans-System International Company ("TSI") for our IT consulting, software development, and railroad technology practices. By opting in, you consent to the terms below.
Program scope. This SMS program is used exclusively for IT-services, software-project, and railroad-technology communications. It is not used for any firearms, ammunition, or FFL-related notifications. Customers of our FFL 0702 services receive transfer notifications, NICS-related communications, and other firearms-related updates via email and phone only.
1. Program Description
TSI sends SMS messages to customers who have opted in. Messages are limited to the following business contexts:
- Project status and milestone updates for active software-development and IT-consulting engagements.
- Appointment reminders for scheduled meetings, site visits, and consulting sessions.
- Customer-portal one-time passcodes (OTPs) and security notifications.
- Operational notifications for active railroad technology engagements (e.g., production-window alerts, deployment confirmations).
- Occasional service announcements related to the practices above (only if you opted into marketing messages specifically).
No SMS messages are sent for, or about, firearms, ammunition, accessories, or FFL-related products or services.
2. How to Opt In
You may opt in by:
- Checking the SMS-consent box on a form on trans-sysintl.com.
- Texting JOIN to our published number.
- Providing express written consent in a signed agreement.
Opting into our SMS program is never a condition of purchasing any product or service from TSI.
3. Message Frequency
Frequency varies by the type of messages you've opted into. Transactional messages (order status, OTPs) occur as needed based on your activity. Marketing messages, if you've opted in, will not exceed an average of 4 messages per month.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details. TSI does not charge you to receive our SMS messages, but your carrier may.
5. How to Opt Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any TSI SMS message. After you send STOP, we will send one final confirmation message and then will not send you further messages from that program. You may also email info@trans-sysintl.com to request removal.
6. How to Get Help
For help, reply HELP to any TSI SMS message, or contact us at:
- Email: info@trans-sysintl.com
- Phone: +1 254-294-1004
7. Supported Carriers
Our SMS program is supported on the major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Phone numbers, consent records, message logs, and related data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. TSI does not sell or rent SMS-subscriber phone numbers to third parties. Consent records are retained for as long as you are subscribed and for a reasonable period thereafter to demonstrate compliance.
