Buying a firearm online means it must ship to an FFL holder near you. TSI provides receiving-FFL services for individuals and dealers across the DFW Metroplex, with a streamlined process and transparent fees.
How a Transfer Works
- Seller ships — the online seller or out-of-state dealer ships the firearm to us, referencing your name.
- We receive & log — same-day bound-book entry per ATF requirements, secure storage.
- We notify you — phone/email as soon as it arrives.
- You come in — bring your government-issued photo ID, complete ATF Form 4473 in person.
- NICS check — we submit your background check through the FBI's E-Check 2.0 system.
- Release — upon "Proceed" from NICS, we complete the transfer and you take possession.
